Ages Apparel was a project I built with my brother Ross Okoye. We built it from a simple idea spawned from our African heritage and the very alarming issue of the depleting population of a lot of Africa’s wildlife and what we could do to help. By spreading awareness and supporting selected charities that support African wildlife with our profits.

T-Shirt Design
Graphic t-shirt designs are a very popular starting point for most clothing/merchandise businesses.
The biggest reasons are, they are unisex, large blank canvas for artwork to be printed in a variety of methods, and affordable to produce and sell.
Creating a standout, unique product artwork accompanied with an honest humble story of the change we wanted to make in the world resulted in Ages Apparel’s foundations.
Expanding The Range
To grow and maintain interest we needed to expand our t-shirt line into a full clothing and accessory range, showing growth and instantly standing out from many of the other startup graphic t-shirt companies to show that this company is here to stay.
Range included, Caps, Beanies, Bracelets, Backpacks, Hoodies & Sunglasses. All branded with Ages Apparel’s visuals designed for each product.
Marketing Content
You can always make an instant impression with the public in person with popup banners, signs, flyers, stickers and you sharing your story face to face.
But to keep the business sustainably running you will need to maintain consistent online sales. By creating eye catching digital content is one way you and help improve your efforts in sales or customer acquisition to assist your online marketing.

I learnt so much about building a clothing business from so much trial and error from building Ages Apparel!
I am very confident to advise by talking through my experiences. I am now recognised as a go-to for graphic t-shirt designs in the Bournemouth area.
I have been keen to advise and helped grow other clothing lines to success.
I am no longer part of Ages Apparel but it’s still growing its range; exploring authentic African products and supporting the African people for their craft.
And making such a great impact in Africa.
